A few weeks ago, I was thinking about work. Well, mostly about the
emotionally, menatally and soul demanding jobs of today’s information age.
What’s the point of it all? Living like this, stressing ourselves out, even
during vacations, so that we retire tired, broken, old, depressed, our
grown-up kids having left us and awaiting the end of it all… and the
beginning of an afterlife that we haven’t even prepared well for. What the
frack are we really working for??

Well said! I think you have voiced the concerns of a quiet revolution that is going on, particularly in men’s lives.
I want to keep up with your writing. I have found an effective way to fight back against the despair you describe, and I think you have so eloquently described it that it just inspires me to fight even harder to hellp more people fight back.
